Post-Payment Workflow & Expectations
This guide outlines exactly what happens after a buyer pays for one of your automations on Autonoms AI, what is expected from you as a seller, and how to deliver within our 1-week deployment standard.
1. Timeline & Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Maximum timeline: 7 days (1 week).
- Target SLA: Deployment within 72 hours, with key milestones:
- Day 1–2: Consultation & requirements gathering.
- Day 3: Demo ready.
- Day 4–5: Feedback integration.
- Day 6–7: Deployment & sign-off.

2. Seller Notification & Buyer Info
Once a buyer purchases your automation:
- Autonoms sends you an automated email + dashboard notification containing:
- Which automation was purchased.
- Buyer’s contact info (phone, email).
- Buyer’s company profile (from onboarding form).
- Purchase metadata: payment status (escrowed), buyer comments/requirements, subscription tools they already use.
- Which automation was purchased.
3. Initial Buyer Engagement (Within 24–48 Hours)
You must contact the buyer within 48 hours to schedule a consultation call.
🎯 Consultation Call Objectives
- Understand the buyer’s company, product, service, or pain point.
- Learn how they currently solve this problem (manual processes, tools, team).
- Identify the buyer’s current tools & integrations.
- Capture any customizations required.
- Define expected outcomes for the automation.
- Check if the automation can be deployed as-is or needs adaptation.
- Schedule a follow-up call for demo & deployment.
4. Communication & Project Management
- In-app Messaging: Autonoms AI unlocks direct chat between you and the buyer.
- In-app Project Workspace: A shared dashboard tracks tasks, updates, and milestones (consultation → demo → deployment).
- Calendar Integration: Buyers can book calls with you directly through the platform.
5. Midpoint Check-In (Day 3)
- By Day 3, a demo version of the automation must be ready.
- Conduct a demo call:
- Walk the buyer through how it works.
- Gather feedback and required tweaks.
- Log feedback in the project workspace.

6. Deployment & Integration
Deployment involves 4 key steps:
- Live Call with Buyer.
- Export automation to buyer’s environment (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n, or their cloud).
- Connect buyer’s tools securely via OAuth — no personal credentials shared.
- Test end-to-end workflow with buyer present.
7. Definition of Done (DoD)
Payment is only released from escrow once the automation meets DoD standards:
- Installed successfully in buyer’s environment.
- Configured with their tools.
- Passed functional tests (workflow runs as expected).
- Buyer confirms acceptance during a final sign-off call.
8. Payment Release & Escrow
- Buyer’s payment is held in escrow.
- Funds are released automatically once DoD is met and buyer signs off.
- If disputes arise, Autonoms conflict resolution system steps in .
9. Post-Deployment Opportunities
- Buyers are encouraged to re-engage you for ongoing work:
- AI-Ops-as-a-Service: recurring monthly contracts.
- Milestone-based engagements: additional features or upgrades.

10. Key Seller Responsibilities Recap
