Post-Payment Workflow & Expectations

This guide outlines exactly what happens after a buyer pays for one of your automations on Autonoms AI, what is expected from you as a seller, and how to deliver within our 1-week deployment standard.

1. Timeline & Service Level Agreement (SLA)

  • Maximum timeline: 7 days (1 week).
  • Target SLA: Deployment within 72 hours, with key milestones:
    • Day 1–2: Consultation & requirements gathering.
    • Day 3: Demo ready.
    • Day 4–5: Feedback integration.
    • Day 6–7: Deployment & sign-off.

2. Seller Notification & Buyer Info

Once a buyer purchases your automation:

  • Autonoms sends you an automated email + dashboard notification containing:
    • Which automation was purchased.
    • Buyer’s contact info (phone, email).
    • Buyer’s company profile (from onboarding form).
    • Purchase metadata: payment status (escrowed), buyer comments/requirements, subscription tools they already use.

3. Initial Buyer Engagement (Within 24–48 Hours)

You must contact the buyer within 48 hours to schedule a consultation call.

🎯 Consultation Call Objectives

  • Understand the buyer’s company, product, service, or pain point.
  • Learn how they currently solve this problem (manual processes, tools, team).
  • Identify the buyer’s current tools & integrations.
  • Capture any customizations required.
  • Define expected outcomes for the automation.
  • Check if the automation can be deployed as-is or needs adaptation.
  • Schedule a follow-up call for demo & deployment.

4. Communication & Project Management

  • In-app Messaging: Autonoms AI unlocks direct chat between you and the buyer.
  • In-app Project Workspace: A shared dashboard tracks tasks, updates, and milestones (consultation → demo → deployment).
  • Calendar Integration: Buyers can book calls with you directly through the platform.

5. Midpoint Check-In (Day 3)

  • By Day 3, a demo version of the automation must be ready.
  • Conduct a demo call:
    • Walk the buyer through how it works.
    • Gather feedback and required tweaks.
    • Log feedback in the project workspace.

6. Deployment & Integration

Deployment involves 4 key steps:

  1. Live Call with Buyer.
  2. Export automation to buyer’s environment (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n, or their cloud).
  3. Connect buyer’s tools securely via OAuth — no personal credentials shared.
  4. Test end-to-end workflow with buyer present.

7. Definition of Done (DoD)

Payment is only released from escrow once the automation meets DoD standards:

  • Installed successfully in buyer’s environment.
  • Configured with their tools.
  • Passed functional tests (workflow runs as expected).
  • Buyer confirms acceptance during a final sign-off call.

8. Payment Release & Escrow

  • Buyer’s payment is held in escrow.
  • Funds are released automatically once DoD is met and buyer signs off.
  • If disputes arise, Autonoms conflict resolution system steps in .

9. Post-Deployment Opportunities

  • Buyers are encouraged to re-engage you for ongoing work:
    • AI-Ops-as-a-Service: recurring monthly contracts.
    • Milestone-based engagements: additional features or upgrades.
  • Sellers can build long-term client relationships while earning recurring revenue.
