Buyer Playbook (For Businesses)

🎯 Purpose of This Playbook

This playbook helps you, the buyer, understand what happens after you purchase an automation, what you can expect from the seller, and how Autonoms ensures you get exactly what you paid for — securely and on time.

🗓️ 1. Timeline & Service Standard

  • Maximum deployment time: 1 week (7 days).
  • Target delivery: 72 hours.
  • Milestones you can expect:
    • Day 1–2: Consultation with seller.
    • Day 3: Demo ready for review.
    • Day 4–5: Feedback applied.
    • Day 6–7: Final deployment & acceptance.

📩 2. After You Pay

When you purchase an automation:

  • Your payment goes into secure escrow (not immediately released to the seller).
  • The seller receives:
    • Your contact info (phone, email).
    • Your company profile (based on your onboarding form).
    • Any requirements or notes you added during checkout.

📞 3. First Contact (Within 48 Hours)

  • The seller is required to contact you within 24–48 hours.
  • You will schedule a consultation call (30–60 minutes).

🎯 Consultation Call Objectives

  • Seller understands your business and problem.
  • You explain how you currently solve it (tools, manual work, processes).
  • Clarify which tools you use (Gmail, Slack, Airtable, etc.).
  • Define any customization needs.
  • Agree on expected outcomes.
  • Set a date for the demo call.

💬 4. Communication & Project Management

Autonoms provides built-in tools so everything stays organized:

  • In-app Messaging: Direct chat with the seller.
  • Project Workspace: See progress, updates, and milestones.
  • Calendar Integration: Schedule calls, demos, and deployment sessions easily.

🛠️ 5. Demo & Feedback (Day 3)

  • By Day 3, the seller should provide you with a demo version of the automation.
  • You will:
    • Attend a demo call.
    • Review how it works.
    • Provide feedback (changes, tweaks, or approval).

🚀 6. Deployment & Integration

Final deployment includes:

  1. Deployment Call – Seller walks through setup with you.
  2. Automation Export – Automation is installed in your environment (Zapier, Make, n8n, or cloud).
  3. Secure Tool Connection – You connect your apps (via OAuth, no passwords shared).
  4. Test & Confirm – End-to-end run is tested with you live.

✅ 7. Definition of Done (DoD)

Your payment is only released when all of the following are met:

  • Automation installed in your environment.
  • Connected with your tools.
  • Functional tests pass successfully.
  • You sign off on final acceptance.

💳 8. Escrow & Payment Security

  • Your funds are held in escrow until DoD is met.
  • Seller only gets paid once you confirm acceptance.
  • If disputes arise, Autonoms AI provides conflict resolution support.

🔄 9. After Deployment: Ongoing Support

After your automation is live, you can:

  • Re-hire the seller for extra features or upgrades.
  • Sign up for AI-Ops-as-a-Service (monthly contract for ongoing support).
  • Engage sellers on a milestone or contract basis for new automations.

📌 10. Quick Checklist for Buyers

  • Be ready to take the consultation call within 48 hours.
  • Share details of your tools and processes with the seller.
  • Attend the Day 3 demo and give feedback quickly.
  • Join the deployment call and connect your tools securely.
  • Confirm when automation meets Definition of Done.
  • Decide if you’d like ongoing support or additional automations.

💡 Best Practices for Buyers

  • Be responsive — delays in calls or feedback extend delivery time.
  • Be clear about what tools you use and what outcomes you want.
  • Use the in-app project workspace to track progress.
  • Always connect your tools securely via OAuth (never share passwords).
  • Think beyond one automation — sellers can help you automate entire workflows.

This Buyer Playbook ensures you know what to expect, how to collaborate with sellers, and how Autonoms protects your investment with escrow and clear delivery standards.
