Autonoms Seller Playbook (For Builders)

Overview

This guide explains what happens after a buyer purchases one of your automations on Autonoms, what’s expected from you as a seller, and how to deliver efficiently while meeting our quality and trust standards.

1. Service Speed & Delivery Standards

Autonoms encourages fast, transparent delivery cycles.
Most automations are completed within a few days, and all projects should be finished within about a week of purchase unless additional customization is agreed with the buyer.

Typical flow (for guidance:

  • Consultation & requirements → usually within the first 48 hrs.
  • Demo ready for feedback → shortly after consultation.
  • Feedback & revisions → quick turnaround to maintain momentum.
  • Final deployment & sign-off → once the automation meets the Definition of Done (DoD).

⏱ The faster you communicate and deliver, the higher your ratings and repeat-business potential.

2. Notification & Buyer Information

After a buyer purchases your automation, you’ll receive an email and dashboard notification containing:

  • The automation purchased.
  • Buyer contact details (email / phone).
  • Company profile from their onboarding form.
  • Purchase metadata (escrow status, buyer notes, required tools or subscriptions).

3. First Contact & Consultation

Reach out to the buyer promptly—ideally within 24 to 48 hours.
Use in-app messaging first; follow up by email if necessary.

Consultation Call Agenda

  • Introduce yourself and outline your expertise.
  • Understand the buyer’s company, service, or problem.
  • Review how they currently solve the issue (manual workflows / tools).
  • Identify the tools and platforms they already use.
  • Discuss customization needs and confirm feasibility.
  • Align on expected outcomes and next steps.
  • Schedule a follow-up session for the demo or deployment.

4. Communication & Project Management

Autonoms provides built-in collaboration tools:

  • In-App Messaging – chat directly with the buyer.
  • Project Workspace – track milestones and upload updates.
  • Calendar Integration – buyers can book calls or demos directly.

Maintain all project communication within the platform for transparency and security.

5. Demo & Feedback

Prepare a working demo once the automation is functional.
During the demo call:

  • Walk the buyer through the workflow.
  • Collect and document feedback.
  • Record next actions in the project workspace.
Implement revisions quickly to stay on schedule.

6. Deployment & Integration

When ready to deploy:

  1. Hold a live deployment call with the buyer.
  2. Export the automation to the buyer’s environment (Zapier, Make, n8n, etc.).
  3. Connect tools securely using OAuth or approved APIs — never request raw credentials.
  4. Run an end-to-end test to confirm everything works as expected.

7. Definition of Done (DoD)

Payment is released only when all DoD conditions are met:

  • Automation installed in the buyer’s environment.
  • Proper configuration with their tools.
  • Functional tests passed successfully.
  • Buyer provides final sign-off confirming completion.

8. Escrow & Payment Release

Buyer funds remain in escrow throughout the project.
Once the buyer confirms completion, payment is automatically released.
If any dispute arises, Autonoms’s conflict-resolution process mediates until both sides are satisfied.

9. After Deployment — Ongoing Opportunities

You can continue working with buyers through:

  • AI-Ops-as-a-Service (monthly retainer for ongoing automation management).
  • Milestone-based projects (for upgrades or new features).
  • Contract-based engagements (long-term implementation support).

These options build recurring revenue and strong client relationships.
